LSE alumni volunteer to support the School’s entrepreneurial community

We are delighted that a further 86 alumni have signed up to volunteer for the School, lending their expertise to support LSE’s growing entrepreneurial community.

Following our latest Campaign volunteer appeal, alumni from all over the world expressed their interest in supporting a variety of LSE Generate programmes, which are designed to help students and alumni build socially responsible businesses in the UK and beyond. Volunteer opportunities include providing specialist support to early-stage Founders, hosting office tours, speaking at LSE Generate events or giving an hour to answer questions from budding entrepreneurs.

Our alumni have also generously offered their time to become mentors as part of Generate’s Mentorpreneurship programme. The first university-run initiative of its kind, the scheme engages past, current and future student entrepreneurs in a ‘life-cycle’ of mentoring. Alumni volunteers taking part in this programme will support the development of socially conscious businesses and inspire entrepreneurial thinking, empowering LSE innovators through mentoring and networking.

There is still time to get involved – if you have expertise to share with early stage Founders, please consider signing up to be a Mentorpreneur or support LSE Generate’s other programmes.
